Search

NBS Building Regulations will search the entire NBS Building Regulations document set for relevant documents. This makes this facility extremely powerful while being very easy to use.

The search facility can be accessed in two ways;

1. The search box can be found at the top of every page in NBS Building Regulations. Click in the search box and enter your search term, then click on the search button or hit the Return key.



2. From the menu bar, click on the search link. This will show a search facility with the capabilities to narrow down your search

To carry out a simple search, click in the search box and enter your search term, then click on the Search button or hit the Return key.

To maximise your search, enter your search term in the search box and then select a time period from the Updated drop down box, options include

• at any time
• in the last 10 minutes
• in the last hour
• in the last day
• in the last week
• in the last month
• in the last quarter
• in the last year
• since GMT (dd/mm/yy)

By selecting the since GMT option, it is required that you enter a date a box that will appear to the right of the drop down box. Please note that the format is date/month/year. For example, if you were searching for documents that have been updated since the 1st of April 2002, you would enter 01/04/02.

By default all documents will be returned. But if you want to see results that are only current or archive, then click on the appropriate button.

If at any time you want to start a new search, click on the Clear button.

Note: The search facility will not work unless you have logged on as an authorised user.
