Abstract

Gives guidance on the role of new techniques and plant in producing high quality concrete floors. The growing popularity and use of large pour techniques for slabs, has been taken into consideration and additional guidance is provided in this report, which includes the increasingly popular 'Lazer Screed' method. In the area of design and crack control in ground-supported floors, fibres of various materials and types have been used extensively for many years in Europe.
