Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS)

ACAS seeks to improve the performance and effectiveness of organisations by providing an independent and impartial service to prevent and resolve disputes and to build harmonious relationships at work. It operates a nationwide network of public enquiry points which deal with queries on almost all employment matters, including the rights and obligations arising out of employment law. The service is available to individuals or organisations free of charge.
