Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland (AHSS)
The Society exists to protect the architectural heritage of Scotland. Voluntary local cases panels monitor applications for listed building consent and for planning permission in conservation areas throughout Scotland, and offer advice and guidance regarding the applications to the local planning authorities. It holds visits, tours, talks, lectures and conferences, and publishes a journal and a magazine.
