Association of Preservation Trusts (APT)

The Association of Preservation Trusts is the membership organisation for building preservation trusts (BPTs). It provides: a two way channel of communication between BPTs, the Government and statutory bodies; a forum for BPTs to meet with each other and discuss relevant issues; information through: Guidance Notes, a working manual providing useful information for all BPTs, APT Newsletter and low cost workshops, seminars and conferences; Practice Advisers Scheme, whereby experienced practitioners visit fellow BPTs to discuss particular problems or dilemmas; support and contacts; and promotion of the work of BPTs via the national media.
