Construction History Society (CHS)

The Society disseminates research and information about historical buildings and construction techniques; encourages today's industry to pay greater care to the safe keeping of its records and demonstrates the fascination of construction history studies through an active programme of visits and lectures. The Society is open to everyone with an interest in construction history, irrespective of their professional specialisation. Its publications and activities reflect the broad range of interests.
