Environment Agency (EA)

The Environment Agency has responsibility in England and Wales for the control of industrial pollution and wastes and for the regulation and enhancement of the water environment. It brings together the functions of the former HM Inspectorate of Pollution and National Rivers Authority, and of the local waste regulation authorities.
