Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

HSE is involved with the development of health and safety laws, codes and standards which cover safe working right across industry, publish advice and guidance, and carry out research It also plays a full part in international developments, especially in Europe. The Information Centre can answer general queries and give advice on publications.
