Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is the world's leading learned society for mechanical engineers, with 78,000 members worldwide. It covers the entire range of technologies in which engineers work; it is committed to "technology transfer" as well as ensuring the highest professional standards. IMechE publishes a number of magazines, a newspaper and volumes of technical papers, as well as information booklets and guidance, and video programmes. It also offers a range of other services including library facilities and training.
