Institute of Carpenters (IOC)

The Institute of Carpenters aims to maintain the traditions of an historic craft and advance the status of those involved in the industry. It is the only organisation to run timed practical woodworking examinations as qualifiers to the various levels of membership available. It sponsors competitions and special events, and publishes a quarterly journal.
