Institute of Directors (IoD)

The IoD is a non-political organisation with over 54,000 members in the UK. Founded in 1903, the IoD has always championed the entrepreneur and seeks to provide an environment conducive to business success. Members include CEOs of large corporations and entrepreneurial directors of start-ups. The IoD offers a range of services including business-centre facilities, conferences, networking, literature and various information services. The IoD also provides representation of the interests of business to government and policy makers.
