Noise Abatement Society (NAS)

The Noise Abatement Society is a voluntary, non-profit making organisation formed with the sole purpose of eliminating excessive and unnecessary noise from all sources. It campaigns for all buildings to be adequately insulated, and where possible to include a sound-proof room as a retreat from noise or where it can be created without disturbing others, and encourages research into methods and ideas for reducing noise in engines, plant, machinery and appliances.
