National Trust for Scotland

The National Trust for Scotland was established in 1931 to act as the guardian of Scotland's heritage of architectural, scenic and historic treasures and to promote public enjoyment of them. It has in its care over 100 properties covering 110,000 acres. It depends for support on donations, legacies and subscriptions.
