Oil Firing Technical Association for the Petroleum Industry (OFTEC)

OFTEC was formed in 1991 by the major oil companies, oil distributors and manufacturers of oil firing equipment in the UK and Ireland to meet the need for a technical and marketing framework for the oil heating industry. In its role as the oil heating industry's technical body it has been at the forefront in improving standards of equipment and providing training throughout the industry. It publishes technical literature and runs a free advice service.
