Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB)
RNIB is the leading charity working for the estimated two million people with sight problems throughout the UK. The Joint Mobility Unit (a service provided together with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association) aims to improve the design of the built environment so that people with sight problems can move around safely, independently and without undue restriction. Its services are available throughout the UK and include technical information and practical advice. It has also published a book, "Building Sight", on the needs of visually impaired people in building and interior design.
