Shop and Display Equipment Association (SDEA)

The Association was formed in 1947 to promote and encourage relations between members, to advance the interests of the industry, and to act as the official channel of communication with Government departments, local authorities, trade associations and other organisations. It sponsors the exhibition Intershop, and administers joint venture schemes to overseas exhibitions in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry. It publishes an annual Directory of Shopfittings and Display Equipment, listing products and services supplied by members. It negotiates discounts for members, and publishes newsletters giving statistics, sales leads, etc.
