Part P Competent Person Scheme
The Part P Competent Person Scheme was approved by the then ODPM (now the DCLG) in 2004 to provide access to electrical installers who have been approved to self-certify that their work complies with the Building Regulations. The site includes a search for Competent Persons, general information on Part P, and for contractors, information on how to become a Competent Person.
