Structural design clauses added and existing ones amended to coordinate with section B50 and Eurocode standards. Reference to BS 12600 replaced with BS 6206.

H60 Plain roof tiling

The above sections have a new item added to battens and counterbattens clauses in order to comply with the new release of The NFRC’s Technical Bulletin TB33.

H90 Tensile fabric coverings
Section to be read in conjunction with section B50 - General structural requirements. New clauses added for Contractor’s design, Structural design and Base tensioning.

J21 Mastic asphalt roofing/ insulation/ finishes
J31 Liquid applied waterproof roof coatings
J41 Reinforced bitumen membrane roof coverings
J42 Single layer polymeric sheet roof coverings
The above sections have had Contractor’s design clauses added for use in conjunction with section B50, and existing Integrity clauses deleted because they are now included in section B50.

K11 Rigid sheet flooring/ sheathing/ decking/ sarking/ linings/ casings
BS EN 1995-1-1 has replaced BS 5268-1 to -6.1, however old Standards are still referred to in some cases as they are still valid on certain projects and the new standard does not cover all aspects of the old standards.

M41 Terrazzo tiling/ In situ terrazzo
Changes made to account for amendments to BS 5385-3, -4 and -5.

N13 Sanitary appliances and fittings
Clause title amended to remove reference to 'Jacuzzis' as this is a brand name and should only be used for products bearing a JACUZZI® registered trademark.
