Our ongoing efforts to keep your specifications up-to-date have, this update, resulted in:
- 37 sections have had their reference documents reviewed:
- 11 sections contain improvements to general or clause guidance, without
changes to the clause text
- 17 sections contain changes to clause text with/ without changes to
general or clause guidance.

V31 Low voltage switchgear
This section has been updated following the replacement of BS 88 with BS HD 60269, the replacement of BS EN 60439 with BS EN 61439 (although the former still remains current) and the updating of BS EN 60445 and BS EN 61008. |

This section has been updated following the replacement of BS 6290-4 with BS EN 60896-22. |

Minor changes to two clauses relating to availability of CAI Benchmarked products. |

W44 Closed circuit television systems
This section has been updated following the replacement of BS 8004 with BS EN 1997-1 Eurocode 7. BS 8004 has been retained as it is cited in current Building Regulations. |

W57 Gas detection and alarm systems
This section has been updated following the replacement of BS EN 50020 with BS EN 60079-11 and the updating of BS EN 50270 and BS EN 60079-0. |
