Acoustical Investigation and Research Organisation Ltd (AIRO)

AIRO was incorporated in 1958 to cater for the then growing need for technical expertise in the acoustics and noise assessment and control fields. Since then, it has opened laboratory facilities and established itself as a leading consultancy, offering precision on-site measurement facilities and a specialist advisory service for any problem involving acoustics or noise. It also designs high quality sound systems for special purposes, including sound reinforcement systems, with particular emphasis on improving speech intelligibility in reverberant spaces such as cathedrals and churches.
