National Society of Master Thatchers (NSMT)

The NSMT was founded in 1967 and is a UK wide trade association made up of working master thatchers who have passed a selection procedure. There are now two new categories of membership, for companies with business associated to thatching, and for people who own thatched properties or have a serious interest in thatch, The Society's aim is not only to help its members but also to assist the thatch-owning public on all thatching matters.
