Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)

CIArb is a professional body with a multi-disciplinary membership in 84 countries around the world, including practitioners in law, construction, shipping, finance, etc. Its primary object is to promote and facilitate the determination of disputes by arbitration; it provides a register of arbitrators and expert witnesses, and can appoint and nominate arbitrators and expert witnesses, and set up and administrate small claims arbitration schemes.
