JMU Access Partnership (JMU)

The aim of the JMU Access Partnership (JMU) is to bring about improvements in the built environment which would enable blind, deafblind and partially sighted people to move around safe, independently and without undue restriction. The JMU meets the above aim with the concept of inclusive design and provides a comprehensive pan-disability service; by working with the JMU local authorities, developers, service providers and built environment professionals can ensure they create environments which include, be they buildings, streets or transport systems.
