Abstract

A good understanding of the chemical interactions of the materials in a refrigeration system is necessary for designing systems that are reliable and have a long service life. Covers the chemical aspects of both old refrigerants and new, environmentally acceptable refrigerants. Physical aspects are discussed in Chapter 6 and physical properties of lubricants, in Chapter 7.
