Abstract

Establishes a level of particulate cleanliness verification for both new and existing ventilation systems and an indication of when it is considered appropriate to clean systems in use. Includes a section on kitchen extract systems. Establishes levels of grease surface deposit at which it is appropriate to clean a kitchen extract ventilation system and at which post-clean verification is achieved. Includes guidelines to ensure that new ductwork systems remain protected during the installation period and prior to commissioning.
