Abstract

Assesses the Faveton Tile Ventilated Facade System’s suitability, within limitations, for use as a decorative open-jointed, drained and back-ventilated rainscreen facade or overcladding for application to external masonry, concrete walls and timber or metal frame vertical walls of residential and commercial buildings. The system comprises ceramic tiles hung on aluminium support rails with ethylene propylene diene monomer joint profile seal gaskets underneath the vertical tile joints.
