Abstract

Identifies the factors which influence the amount of energy used within laboratories. On the basis of this defines energy consumption benchmarks for generic court building ‘types’, against which the performance of any particular court can be measured, and highlights the key areas where energy savings can be made within most court buildings. Provides case histories demonstrating energy efficiency good practice within existing court buildings.
