Abstract

Suggests ways to improve energy efficiency in schools. Explains the benefits of being energy efficient. Outlines where energy is used in schools and where savings can be achieved. Provides information by which the energy performance of a school can be compared against benchmarks for similar schools. This indicates the level of savings that might be achievable. Benchmarks are given for energy consumption and energy cost.
