Abstract

Gives characteristics and test methods for PVC-u piping systems intended for use in water supply, buried or above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure systems, applying to joints with components of PVC-u, other plastics and non-plastics materials. Intended for use in water mains and services buried in the ground; to convey water above ground for both outside and inside buildings and also for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. Applies to fittings in piping systems used for water supply under pressure up to and including 25°C (cold water), that is intended for human consumption and for general purposes and also for waste water under pressure. Applies to components used for conveyance of water and waste water up to and including 45°C.
