Abstract
Gives requirements and guidelines for the quantification and communication of the carbon footprint of products (CFPs), including both goods and services, based on greenhouse gas emissions and removals over the life cycle of a product. Aimed at organisations, governments and communities it should contribute to GHG related policies by formulating methodologies, tracking performance in reducing emissions, the creation of consistent procedures in providing and communicating information, and enhancing the creditability, consistency and transparency of quantification and reporting procedures.
