Abstract

Describes the various systems available and how they can be used. It is primarily concerned with stand alone small wind turbines (up to the size to power and heat a house) which are often used where there is no grid or where grid connection is uneconomic because connection and standing charges are disproportionate to a small machine's cost and output.
