Abstract

Intended to assist local planning authorities to decide how much weight to give to information in the non-statutory Register of Landscapes of Historic Interest in Wales when determining planning applications. It is also intended to assist others involved in the planning and development process in Wales, particularly developers preparing Environmental Impact Assessment statements, to bring forward plans and proposals that are likely to have the least possible adverse impact on historic landscape areas on the Register.
