Guide B0 Applications and activities: HVAC strategies for common building types

Abstract

Chapter B0 of Guide B serves as an introduction to those less familiar with the process of selecting and designing HVAC systems, highlighting specific issues relating to particular activities and applications. As a whole, Guide B provides comprehensive reference material for engineers involved in the specification and design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork, refrigeration and heat rejection, noise and vibration controls for HVAC systems. Follows the design process from concept to implementation and includes sections on strategic design decisions, design criteria, system selection, equipment and fuels.

Document History

2016 version separates Guide B into five parts (B0, B1, B2, B3, B4) plus a Combined Index. Replaces 2005 edition incorporating corrigendum issued 12 April 2016.
