Abstract

Produced to improve contingency planning to deal with decontamination and remediation following a deliberate (CBRN) or accidental (HazMat) release of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear materials.

Superseded by Strategic national guidance - the decontamination of buildings, infrastructure and open environment exposed to chemical, biological, radiological substances or nuclear materials (HM Government, 2013). Supersedes Strategic national guidance - The decontamination of the open environment exposed to chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear (CBRN) substances or material (DEFRA, 2004).
