Abstract

Relates project intended to identify design principles from a range of sources and apply them to facilities for the provision of primary dental care in the general dental services, taking into account current and future developments in care delivery and the perceived needs of dentists, their staff and patients. Describes research methodology. Discusses key design criteria subsequently formulated for practices in general and the clinical environment in particular.
