Abstract

Presents key data and expert opinions on the toxicology and intake of dioxins, furans and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). It aims to derive tolerable daily intakes (TDIs), which in turn are needed to derive Soil Guideline Values (SGVs) for dioxins, furans and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), that is, concentrations that will pose no significant threat to human health.
