Abstract
Provides advice for owners and managers on how woodlands and forests influence freshwater ecosystems. Also gives guidance to forest managers on how forests should be designed and operations planned, and to practitioners on how field operations should be carried out in order to protect and enhance the water environment. Guidelines have been extended to cover Northern Ireland.
