Abstract

Presents practical and alternative solutions for complying with the requirements to resist the passage of sound from other parts of the building and adjoining buildings, within a dwelling-house, for reverberation in the common internal parts of buildings containing flats or rooms for residential purposes and the acoustic conditions in schools.

Main changes made by the 2013 amendments: The main changes which apply only to England, were to materials and workmanship. There were no changes to Part E of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 2010.
