Abstract

Introduces ways of meeting some of the requirements set out in Appendix K of SAP 2012 and to support the 2015 energy standards. Presents illustrative guidance for different construction types: metal frame. Details calculation conditions, critical features, gives an airtightness checklist and additional advice.

The 5 parts of the Accredited construction details (Scotland) 2015 package will comprise: Introduction and principles. Part 2 - Partial fill masonry construction details. Part 3 - Timber frame construction details. Part 4 - Metal frame construction details. Part 5 - Additional common junction details. The Accredited construction details (Scotland) 2010 remain current.
