Abstract

The Scottish Government are seeking views for banning the highest risk cladding materials in new buildings. The consultation will look at the wording used for Section 2.7 spread of external walls, the definition and banning of category 3 metal composite material (MCM) and BS 8414 fire tests of facade systems. Other areas included in the consultation relate to consequential matters for combustible exemptions and impact assessments. This document forms the respondent information form.
