Abstract
Explores the use of art within the planning process to contribute to place-making. Looks at how to make civic art happen by providing a set of guiding principles and recommendations for implementation. Also provides a set of case studies including: art as a tool for public participation in decision-making; the art of renewing places; and stewardship for the arts. Funding sources are also suggested.
