The Department of Housing, Planning, and Local Government aim to support the sustainable and efficient delivery of well-planned homes and effective local government. They publish the Building Regulations Technical Guidance Documents, supporting material and planning guidance. Formerly known as Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government, they became the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage in September 2020.
