Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety

Now known as Department of Health (Northern Ireland). The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety worked to improve the health and social well-being of the people of Northern Ireland. This was done by ensuring the provision of appropriate health and social care services, both in clinical settings and in the community. Formerly known as Department of Health, Social Services and Children (DHSSC).
