Student Survey 2013 - your views are important

The annual NBS Student Survey is now open; we would appreciate your views if you were a student on a construction related course in the academic year 2012/13.

The survey looks at which areas are covered by your course as well as your general understanding of key topic areas such as specification and BIM.

This is the second annual student survey; results from previous years have shown that there is a need for better coverage of specification by universities. Over 70% of respondents said that specification wasn't being covered in enough detail on their courses. We have a range of lecture presentations on NBS Educator [LINK REMOVED - NO LONGER CURRENT] to help students understand specification, schedules of work, contract documentation and briefs; over 85% of respondent's believed that NBS Educator would be useful to them as part of their course.

Your feedback will help us to better understand how well universities are teaching these topics and in what depth. It will also help us to develop our learning resources to help meet the needs of students.
