Thermostatic Mixing Valve Manufacturers Association (TMVA)

The Thermostatic Mixing Valve Manufacturers Association (TMVA) was established to concentrate attention on the safe provision of hot water at the point of use. The main aims of the TMVA are threefold and concern the fundemental issue of hot water safety: To raise awareness of the dangers of scalding; To promote awareness of the benefits of Thermostatic Mixing Valves in preventing the dangers of scalding especially where there is a legal duty of care, and where vulnerable people are exposed to the risk of potentially serious injury; To create a forum for leading manufacturers to promote continuous development of products and applications aimed specifically at improving safety.
