Technical Review: Lighting

Written by Arup Lighting, this full-colour new book provides authoritative, up-to-date core technical reference information for architects and other construction professionals about the increasingly sophisticated art of illuminating buildings. Part of the new Technical Review series, this RIBA CPD-approved book has been specifically written to present information in a way that is most useful to practising construction professionals in their day-to-day work and is packed with illustrations, tables, graphs.

The Technical Review series aims to collate in one place unbiased, need-to-know technical information about particular subject areas, building into a lasting, dependable and attractive desktop reference library. The books contribute to the architect’s annual CPD requirement, with a double weighting of points because all the books are RIBA CPD-assessed and approved.

 

Spon's Mechanical and Electrical Services Price Book 2008

With the continued emphasis within the building services industry on the reduction of energy consumption in buildings, and the need to produce a proportion of a building’s energy requirement from on-site renewable sources, the Spon's Mechanical and Electrical Services Price Book 2008 edition gives weight to new sections on sustainable energy such as ground water cooling and wind energy and revised entries for higher efficiency chillers and boilers and micro CHP units.

Electrical Installation Work: Fifth Edition
