Building on the Olympics at Ecobuild
Ecobuild is an Olympics learning legacy partner, bringing together the lessons learned from the 2012 Olympic Games construction project to create a specific programme of conference and seminar sessions across the three days.
Tuesday 20 March
London 2012: the greenest Olympics ever with speakers including Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority John Armitt, and representatives of Zaha Hadid Architects, Hopkins Architects and Populous Architects, responsible for the design of the aquatics centre, velodrome and the main Olympic stadium respectively.
Wednesday 21 March
The greenest games and the greatest learning considers the learning legacy that the London Olympics, and other large scale construction products, can deliver to UK construction as a whole, and how it can apply that experience to become world-leading in sustainable design and construction – with speakers including Construction Minister Mark Prisk and Chief Construction Adviser Paul Morrell.
Taking place in the UKGBC's 'big tent', Olympic delivery: implementation on the ground with the ODA's Principal Sustainability Manager Holly Knight, Head of Sustainability at LOCOG David Stubbs and John Sutherland, Principal Consultant, Atkins.

Every day, Ecobuild's Olympics learning legacy seminars will cover a wealth of legacy lessons, from energy, materials and logistics, to environmental impacts, sustainable performance and innovation in the supply chain.
