Changing market conditions have driven businesses in all sectors to respond and adapt in order to remain current. In response to massive conflict in the pub industry, RICS Professional Group formed a Pubco Forum to examine how rents are set in the pub sector and how the rent review dispute resolution mechanism works in practice. As a result, the Forum announced a series of recommendations to help facilitate a smoother valuation process and one which is more aligned with today's operating conditions.
