Our approach to Sustainability

Tackling climate change starts with action, and construction has a critical role to play. NBS provides decarbonisation aligned solutions to the construction industry and is certified as Carbon Neutral to ISO 14068 via a third-party assessor. Furthermore, as part of Hubexo we are aiming to halve our emissions from our base year of 2024 by 2030 and reach Net Zero by 2045.

ISO 14068 Carbon Neutrality Verification Report: 2025

This verification demonstrates Hubexo UKI’s (including NBS) continued carbon neutrality under ISO 14068-1 and ongoing commitment to climate action. Building on the previous year, the report highlights improvements in carbon efficiency, progress towards eliminating operational fossil fuel use, and further development of emissions data.

ISO 14068 Carbon Neutrality Verification Report: 2024

Following the retirement of PAS 2060, Hubexo UKI (including NBS) transitioned to ISO 14068-1, the new international standard for carbon neutrality. Independent verification confirmed the organisation's carbon neutrality claim and highlighted a strengthened approach to emissions measurement, governance and long-term decarbonisation planning.

PAS 2060 Carbon Neutrality Verification Report: 2023

This Qualifying Explanatory Statement (QES) documents Hubexo UKI's (including NBS) achievement of carbon neutrality for the 2023 reporting year under PAS 2060, the recognised carbon neutrality standard at the time. It established the organisation's carbon footprint baseline and formal commitment to ongoing emissions reduction and carbon management.
