Abstract
The design of much of our highway infrastructure has given priority to vehicles over pedestrians and cyclists, and unintentionally has often favoured cars over buses. Access to developments of all types almost always gives priority to the private car. These guidelines are intended to assist those seeking to promote the use of public transport through the physical location and design of developments.
